Kolby and Kamryn had their first day of school today at Lynden Academy! God was so good today and so faithful in answering my prayers. All week Kamryn was full of mixed emotions. One minute she was excited for school and the next she was scared and didn't want to go. I was unsure how today would go and a little nervous for her. Kamryn may seem like a loud crazy kid but that's only when she's comfortable :) She needs a good 15-20 min to warm up to new environments or to adjust to a new situation (even if its a familiar place with people she knows) I know it's wrong but I used to get irritated and frustrated because I can't relate to how she is, but thankfully, God has been working on my heart and I have learned to have compassion and understanding...I give her the time she needs but try not to coddle her too much. Anyway, I was concerned she might lose it when I left, so I have been praying fervently this week for her and myself. We arrived 15 min early, got her situated and I stood on the side until class started, she got a little emotional and clingy as I expected but she did good when I left, praise God for that! She wanted me to come for lunch so I did and I was filled with JOY when I saw her sitting eating her lunch with a bunch of little girls. I sat at a table with Kolyn and Kam stayed with the girls but kept giving me sweet smiles as she ate her lunch. She was very quiet but said she was having a great day and really liked school. My heart was so emotional seeing my little girl, growing up before my eyes...and I thank God so much for blessing her with a great first day. I also thank God for softening my heart towards her...as a mom I think one of the hardest things for me is to figure out how to be an understanding mom who has compassion for my kids when I really can't understand or relate to them at all with some things...Kamryn and I are so different, but I love her so much and want to have a close relationship with her, where she can trust me, and know that I am there for her regardless of how different we may be. I know God will continue to help me and give me insight and understanding, I know what it comes down to is loving her like He does and appreciating how He made her.
KOlby, AKA Mr. Social, had a great day too, and he loved being at school again.
Homeschool went great this week too, lots of learning! It didn't begin how I had planned which I find funny because a few posts ago, I wrote about all my planning and also that I was ok with "life" happening! Well "life" sure happened Monday morning. Sunday night, Ace (our puppy) got his ear swiped by a cat...we thought by morning the bleeding would stop, well I let him go to the bathroom at 7am and he got his bandage off and got blood all over again. I was holding him because if he shook his head, blood went everywhere...Kolby and kam were up and then I heard kolyn crying in her room but I couldn't let the dog go,so kolby went to get her... I called my mom and she came over, God bless her! I got him wrapped up and took him to the vet, long story short, they couldn't get it to stop with a stitch and glue so I left him at the vet for the day...that was my morning...then we were about to start homeschool and I ran upstairs to find my dishwasher didn't seal closed and there was water over half the kitchen floor! AHHHH!!! At this point I was laughing, saying "ok God, I get it" I can plan all I want, but really I have no control over anything. It really was a great reminder for me...to my surprise I handled Monday pretty well, I only cried for minute in the craziness of things and I didn't even snap at my kids even though it was stressful (I don't know about you but that's something I struggle with too, letting my stress out on my poor kids sometimes)...we started school 2 hours late but we did it!

Here are a couple comparison pics of the kids from last year...They have grown up so much in a year! I pray God helps me treasure these moments!

<br />
Ingredients<br />
<br />
1 can chicken broth<br />
1 can chili no beans<br />
1 can green enchilada sauce (mild for us)<br />
3-4 good size chicken breasts (cooked and chopped)<br />
5-6 large tortillas<br />
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese<br />
1 cup shredded mont. jack cheese<br />
6 oz cream cheese<br />
Chopped onion <br />
<br />
<br />
Preheat oven 375<br />
<br />
In a sauce pan, warm on medium the chili and enchilada sauce (stir occasionally)<br />
<br />
In another saucepan, warm on low chicken broth<br />
<br />
Cook chicken in frying pan ( I season with garlic salt)<br />
<br />
Once chicken is cooked, chop it up and mix it with 6 oz of cream cheese. once that is mixed well, add 1/2-3/4 cup of mont jack and 1 cup of cheddar. Add in chopped onion. mix well. <br />
<br />
Take a tortilla and dip it fully in the chicken broth, lay in the 9x13 dish, fill with the chicken mixture and roll up...do this for all tortillas. After all the tortillas are filled, pour the remaining chicken broth into the chili/enchilada mix, stir and then pour over the enchiladas. Add the remaining cheese on top. <br />
Bake for 45 min (uncovered).<br />
<br />
Serve with salsa and sour cream! For me that's everything from our weekly lesson planning to meal planning, to cleaning schedules! Last year was my first year and I feel a bit more on top of things this year because for the most part, I know what to expect :) I thought I'd share what I'm doing because I have learned from some inspiring veteran mom blogs out there and if for some random reason someone reads my blog, I hope this inspires them in some way too, just like I have been inspired and encouraged by those other ladies.
First of all, keeping a clean and tidy home is important to me, but managing my time in order to do it is the hard part! So last year I came up with a cleaning schedule and it made such a difference for me! So here it is!
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-UQ_wxvAPXCY/U_kbaXarQ6I/AAAAAAAABNA/7DPtHdw2KQA/s1600/cleaning%2Bsched.jpg" imageanchor="1" ><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-UQ_wxvAPXCY/U_kbaXarQ6I/AAAAAAAABNA/7DPtHdw2KQA/s640/cleaning%2Bsched.jpg" /></a>
Also, having meals planned out ahead of time saves me time and money...I go grocery shopping on Fridays and do food prep for the week so if I have all my meals planned out, my list is super easy to make and follow :) I got some of this from my favorite blogger "confessionsofahomeschooler.com" so be sure to check her out, she has AMAZING ideas for life!
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-igUkzseImeU/U_kfNlebRuI/AAAAAAAABN8/Oh4ftL497p8/s1600/Meal%2BPlan.jpg" imageanchor="1" ><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-igUkzseImeU/U_kfNlebRuI/AAAAAAAABN8/Oh4ftL497p8/s400/Meal%2BPlan.jpg" /></a>
So now that I have those basic wife/mother duties figured out...I am left with homeschool organization and planning! I decided to use a "workbox" system this year but I am limited on space so I used wall file holders instead...Basically, each pouch has a file folder for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (those are the days I homeschool-the kids go to school Thursdays and Fridays)...I have also made a calendar that coincides with the pouches so I can just look at my calendar to see what we are doing and then put each paper/book/assignment in the files. I will have Thursdays be my "teacher planner" days where I put the following weeks stuff in the folders...Come Monday, everything will be ready to go! I chose to teach the kids the same for History and Science and then Math and Language Arts will be their grade level. We will also be doing Spanish this year! The school had a rosetta stone homeschool program so I am super excited to use it with the kids! Well here are some pics of our homeschool area! I also have examples of my workbox calendar...I have it planned out til Christmas break! Yay me :)
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-DbAYz3wIMSM/U_kfbMgAL8I/AAAAAAAABOE/jMviSGFyMlc/s1600/Homeschool%2BWorkbox%2Borganization.jpg" imageanchor="1" ><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-DbAYz3wIMSM/U_kfbMgAL8I/AAAAAAAABOE/jMviSGFyMlc/s400/Homeschool%2BWorkbox%2Borganization.jpg" /></a><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gxpCyAM4lOg/U_kffbjeQfI/AAAAAAAABOM/eOQUPwyRUJI/s1600/homeschool%2B1.png" imageanchor="1" ><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gxpCyAM4lOg/U_kffbjeQfI/AAAAAAAABOM/eOQUPwyRUJI/s400/homeschool%2B1.png" /></a>
Here is our area...we also have a wall for morning activities like calendar, weather, time, question of the day (which will either be from science or history)...And our white board will have their sight words...I will also use it when teaching Kamryn reading lessons (from Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy lessons-DISTAR reading program-Which I HIGHLY recommend!!)

IF anyone is curious what curriculum we are using this year here it is:
Math: Saxon
Language Arts: Explode the Code and other workbooks
Science: Apologia: Human Body
History: Mystery of History-Volume 1- Creation to Resurrection
Spanish- Rosetta Stone and Speedy Spanish Primer 1
Well that's about it! I am so thankful that I get to do this!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1485590235599600671.post-69965946254918358332014-08-18T21:53:00.001-07:002014-08-18T21:53:36.746-07:00Organization, decluterring and getting ready for 2014 School year!Wow, I can't believe it's almost time for another school year to begin! 2 in school this year is pretty exciting for me and if I am honest, a little intimidating...So knowing myself, I prepared EARLY this year, and started major organization...the more organized I am in the beginning, the easier and more smooth things will go throughout the year, right?! :) I can hope! I absolutely loved homeschooling last year, the time spent with my kids and the opportunities I have had to teach Kolby not only "school" stuff but also life lessons...and most importantly God was in every subject and lesson. School was out in June but the lessons haven't stopped! I think the biggest lesson we are working on right now is greed/discontentment with what we have, our circumstances, and our choices or lack there of...the only thing we ever always have a choice of is our attitude and unfortunately too often I see my kids choosing a negative attitude with TOO much complaining. I have been studying Ecclesiastes this summer and one point Solomon makes is that we need to watch out for our love of money (and "Stuff") because it won't make us happy, it will only encourage us to want more and more (GREED/COVETING)...nothing ever satisfies, it's all <i>vanity</i>. While self examining my own desires and attachments to things, I realized that we breed greed in America. We have SO much stuff, excess in pretty much every area of our lives, and we continue to want more! I am guilty of this at times and my children are definitely guilty as well. So how do we teach our kids and raise them to NOT be this way in a society and culture that breed this greed? I have no idea, but Im going to try and battle it because it only creates unthankful hearts which is the exact opposite of what we are supposed to have...we are supposed to be filled with thanksgiving and praise to God in EVERY circumstance. So here is what I have done, and I am praying fervently that it will help!
1.) Had a chat with my kids, told them my concerns and shared with them how fortunate we are, I showed them a touching video of kids in Africa, who have nothing, not even clean water, yet they wore the most beautiful smiles on their faces- this actually worked how I had hoped it would...it gave the kids a visual and a better understanding of who these "kids" are when I tell them there are kids in the world who have nothing...and now they want us to adopt one of the kids ;) So as a compromise, we will be "adopting" a child and sending money each month...They are very excited!
2.) we went through ALL their toys and they were allowed to keep 10 items/types of toy. We got rid of everything else. Kamryn has barbies and was allowed to keep 5 (as "one" toy) and got rid of 8 just like Kolby was allowed to keep all his millions of legos :) You know, they honestly haven't missed anything...
3.) We went through ALL of their clothes...They were allowed to keep a certain number of each type of clothing (ie. Kam loves dresses so she got to keep 7...mind you we got rid of about 10) I let them pick out what they wanted to keep and they did SO good with it...if they had me their number but came across a few more items, they just traded what they would rather have. I was seriously SO proud of them. We donated 3/4 of their clothes and they were very happy to do so...
4.) Thankful wall- They can add daily to it with things they are thankful for...I haven't got this up yet but we will be starting this Monday when we start school!
5.) Once a week, we write a thoughtful note or thank you note to someone of their choice.
6.)We will be doing a character study this year in homeschool!
Now before you start to judge me for being "mean" to my kids, know that I TOO went through ALL of my stuff and got rid of 3/4 of my clothes as well...It was very easy for me to do theirs and to expect them to do it with a good attitude which they did, but when I came to my room, I had such a sinful heart and did not want to do it...but about halfway through, God changed my heart and I was SO happy to get rid of my excessive clothes and God really opened my eyes to see how I am my children's example...I can do all those things that I wrote about above but what will make the biggest difference in their lives is how I live my life not just in words but in deeds. God is so good and I seem to always learn such amazing lessons myself, when I am trying to teach my children...
Here's ALL our bags of clothes!
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-J817JndOfkQ/U_LRYnN5UgI/AAAAAAAABMc/N38by8BT-6A/s1600/bags.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-J817JndOfkQ/U_LRYnN5UgI/AAAAAAAABMc/N38by8BT-6A/s320/bags.png" /></a></div>
Now beyond those HUGE lessons for me and the kids, as I said before, I started getting organized for homeschool in July and I am so glad I did because I am READY for school to start next week :) Woohoo! I am so excited about our curriculum this next year! We are studying the human body in Science, the Mystery of History-Creation to the Crucifixion, Spanish, Language arts and of course good old Math! I am using a workbox system this year and I have my calendar organized for school up through December! Yay me! (Ill post some pics of our school area another time) And I decided to go back to monthly meal planning! I literally have it planned out for every meal/snack...I know that seems like a lot and for some people that would be absurd, but I work SO much better being organized, the less organized, the more stressed I get and so I am being proactive...but I am also very ok with NOT following all my calendars and schedules to the T...life happens and I am ok with that...I think that's another huge lesson I am currently learning and I can say with God's help, I am learning to let things go, and let the Spirit lead me...Praise God for that...I am also learning to say no to doing things...this all may seem like a lot to some of you reading this but to me, it's not...I often do WAY too much and lose my peace...in bible study, I read this quote that John Wesley said and it is something that I try to remember daily... " Though I am always in haste, I am never in a hurry, because I never undertake more work than I can go through with calmness of spirit." It might seem like a "duh" kinda statement but I had never realized that...now I have been really trying to examine and consider all I put on my plate, if I feel like it will take away my calmness, I say no or I let go of something else so I can do it. Again, I want to be an example to my kids and this world is all about keeping busy and I really dislike being busy, when it comes to running around and such...so keeping a balanced plate is good for me and my family and being wise about what activities we do is also very important. We haven't done sports yet and I am thinking this year will be our first...and I am ok with that but will not let it become an idol in our lives (when I was a kid, sports was my idol-I played sports every weekend on traveling teams) With God's help, we will put sports and any other extra curricular activity in its proper place: after God, church and family...Well I want to leave you with some mom encouragement from one of my favorite blogs (confessionsofahomeschooler.com) , this chart on Super mom vs Abiding mom...it blesses me everytime I read it..and I hope it does you too!

Update....Well, it's been a long time! I can't believe the last post was about my decision to homeschool! We are half way through Kindergarten and I LOVE IT! God has been faithful to me through this journey and He has provided me with the strength, patience, discipline and wisdom I need to homeschool. Kolby is doing great in school...his best, most favorite subject is math...but I think it's because he is good at it :) One thing I have learned is that he doesn't like making mistakes, or getting things wrong. Hmmm, sounds a bit like myself. For me, the hardest part about homeschooling isn't teaching him to read, write or do math...it's teaching him how to deal with success and failure in a healthy, godly way. The most rewarding and exciting part has been those little moments where I see something "click"...like when I was teaching him how to count by 2s and 5s and through that, he did multiplication, by no means is he doing that yet but it was incredible to see him do it. Teaching him to read has been very challenging (in part because of the way he handles getting things wrong) but I began using the DISTAR reading program and it is working SO good and it's "clicking"! Outside of homeschooling, Kolby is doing great, he is growing into a nice, respectful, kind boy. He has a great group of friends from school and church and I am SO thankful that the Lord has provided him with such good friends, from godly families. For fun he loves swimming, riding his bike, playing football (he is a huge fan of the 49ers-brainwashed by my brother and stepdad!)playing the wii with his big sister Randi, having play dates with friends (he is VERY social) going to AWANA and of course, his favorite hobby is deer hunting-he is Deven's "mini-me". Now onto Kamryn, my sweet and sassy girl. She is still full of personality and is a little love bug half the time and a sassy pants the other half (we are working on changing that! but she is my daughter so who knows if we can help her ;)lol ) She is doing great in preschool. At the beginning of the year she had separation anxiety when she went to AWANA and preschool but now she feels at home and does great. She is always a little hesitant with new places and people so we are working on learning how to deal with that and move past those anxious feelings. Once she is over those feelings, she is a very loud, social girl. She is the most girly girl ever! She loves: pink, jewelry, swimming, sparkles, dolls, Tinker Bell, playing dress up, wearing ballet dresses and dancing around, playing with stuffed animals (she sleeps with about 30 of them, I AM NOT JOKING!), books and movies. She is such a lovey girl, she cries if she doesn't get a hug or kiss from one of us if we leave...She loves her brother and sisters and giggles all the time at Kolyn, I just love watching them all play together. Kolyn gets SO excited when she sees the kids. She is turning into quite the "opinionated", determined girl. She knows what she wants and isn't afraid to tell you (sounds familiar!) Her soy allergy is calming down, I still try not to give her soy, but occasionally if I do eat it (I'm still nursing), it doesn't seem to affect her like it used to. Her 2 bottom teeth popped through last week and she is a fast army crawler, and started standing and walking along things (just a little bit). The poor kid hasn't been able to have a regular schedule because of the older kids' activities. She handles it well though, so I can't complain. Speaking of can't complain...Randi, she is almost 14 and she is such a pleasant, sweet teen. We have so much fun with her...This summer we sent her to horse camp and she found a new love, HORSES...this summer my grandma and grandpa got a horse named Piper for us to take care of and ride. We go every week to work with her, clean stalls, feed the horses (they have 7) and just to be around them. She is always so happy there, no matter what the chore is and she is always happy when we leave. I am SO thankful she has this opportunity. Well I think that's about it for the kiddos. Deven and I are doing great, he still works in Seattle all week but we are just so thankful for his job and with it, I am able to stay home with the kids, so even though it may be a struggle in some ways, it is a struggle that brings about a blessing. Deven works hard for us and when he isn't working, he is being a great dad and husband around here. Now onto me...Just busy being mommy and wife! This past month I got rid of my facebook! I can honestly say I am SO happy I did...for me it was such a distraction and the verse in 1 Thessalonians 4 that tells us: "Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life,to mind your own business and to work with your hands" convicted me to the core, and for ME (not saying anyone else needs to feel this way) facebook was the complete opposite of what that verse commands of me. I am so thankful to be free of it so I can serve God, my family and anyone else who comes into my life better without such a distraction. Well...I hope to be blogging more often...my hope is to share homeschooling stories/experiences, yummy recipes and my personal thoughts on certain topics. Blessings to you! Here's why(and I could go on and on but here's the gist of it)I am choosing part-time homeschooling because I feel it fits my kids and myself best. Not only are they very social but I believe social interaction is so important...
CONVICTION
Motherhood is a blessing and gift from God…He has chosen and trusted me (and Deven) to raise and train up these children in His ways, to bring Him glory. We are called to “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6) I read this verse as a command from God and it convicts my heart to do ALL that I can do, with all that I know, to raise these children for Him…This verse also gives me hope. Hope that by “training” up my children in His ways, they will continue down the narrow path for the rest of their lives.
TRUTH
The choice to homeschool, for me, is similar to the choice to be a stay at home mom…I want to raise my children, I want to teach my children OUR morals and values that are based on the Bible, not the world. I don’t want someone else to have that job, and I certainly don’t want people teaching them “truths” that are not truth in our home. With that being said, I also don’t want to shelter my kids. I want them to be aware of the ways of the world and it’s “truths” however, they won’t be taught as truths like they are in school and I want to decide when I introduce those subjects, not the state, not the school and not a teacher in the classroom.
KIDS WILL BE KIDS
Plain and simple, I don’t want my kids sitting in a classroom for 7 hours a day, followed by a few more hours of school work when they get home. I want them to be able to learn but I also want them to enjoy and experience their childhood to the fullest. I want my kids to be kids! Also, I love that by homeschooling, my kids can be taught in the ways that they learn best. I already see differences in Kolby and Kamryn in how they learn and I don’t want them to struggle or to lose interest in learning because they don’t fit in the “box of learning” that the classroom provides.
I absolutely LOVE how one homeschooling mom put it into perspective…consider our children as disciples. We are training and ministering to our children and teaching them to be disciples of the Lord through the Word of God.
My ministry (provided by God) is 3 adorable kids named Kolby, Kamryn and Kolyn. My life, my love, my responsibility.

She weighed 6lbs 7oz and was 19.5in long (my smallest baby)We are so in love with her...the kids adore her, I seriously have to pull Kamryn away from her sometimes (it's so cute!) It's been going well but definitely a new experience...I noticed that she was pretty gassy but once she hit week 3 it was clearly colic...along with the terrible tummy pains, there was lots of spitting up (vomit a couple times) diarrhea and even a rash on her forehead that sort of looked like baby acne but I knew it wasn't that. After a week of no sleep, lots of bouncing and crying (both mommy and baby) I realized I had started drinking soy shakes in the morning and it coincided with her colic getting worse, I obviously quit drinking them and she got a bit better but still constantly having tummy pains and never just content so I looked up baby allergies and found that infants can have soy allergies (and apparently the soy proteins pass easily through breastmilk) I decided to cut soy and dairy out of my diet (still don't know if there is a dairy allergy but for a few weeks, its out, then I will add it in and see what happens) I soon realized soy is literally in EVERYTHING we eat, from seasoning salts, to crackers, to breads. God works in amazing ways and about a month prior to her birth, my sister discovered she is allergic to soy so she was in the process of learning all about it as well so she helped me learn what to look for in my foods as well as go to the co-op to get food that I can eat. The Hollemans are now in the process of becoming soy free (for the most part) I am not going to make separate dinners every night so I will be learning to cook different and hopefully find some healthy, tasty meals! I am actually excited because after reading about soy, it's not very good for us (never crossed my mind before)The only thing I am pretty bummed about is that I won't be able to eat out (most restaurants use soy in their cooking) and unless someone is making a soy free meal, I won't be able to eat oustide our house! But it's all worth it for my baby to be feeling better...today is day 6 of being soy free and Kolyn sleeps good, eats good and no more spitting up/diarrhea and best of all, no more terrible terible tummy pains. I have a feeling this blog may turn into a blog about parenting/cooking soy free meals but I pray that in some way, it may touch another mom out there...I NEVER thought my kids would have colic due to a soy allergy (kolby was also colicky-wonder if that was the cause)so this will be an adventure for me and maybe it will bring awareness to another mom struggling-I seriously have to wonder how many "colic" babies have food allergies and by mommy changing her diet, baby will be cured! I know with Kolby I was never even told about soy/dairy being a possible cause.... Anyway, here are some pics of Kolyn at 2 weeks! Will post more photos soon, she is filling out and a cute little peanut!

I feel like there isn't enough time in the day to do everything...in most of my spare time, I have to edit photos because thankfully, my photography business has been pretty consistent and busy. I will give a quick update on the family~ <br />Kamryn- On July 26, Kam turned 2! Without any warning, she moved into the "terrible twos" on her birthday! She is a very sweet girl but as I have said before, she has a feisty side! September has been a big month for her, I potty trained her and moved her to a big girl bed. It was SO easy compared to Kolby! I think God gave me Kamryn, because he gave me Kolby. In areas where Kolby was/is very challenging, she is easy and vice versa. She loves "pretty things" and always wants to be wearing jewelry and dresses. She has just started really watching tv and she likes the barbie movies and TinkerBell (or Tink as she calls her). Kamryn and Kolby play a lot and fight a lot but that's what siblings do! They are so cute together and I love when I catch them giving hugs and kisses...rather than her horrible,annoying screaming :)<br />Kolby- He is growing up so fast. He is still a stubborn, strong willed, smart boy but he is learning to use those attributes and I am trying to direct them into positive things. He was getting to be very naughty for a while and I think it was because he was so bored. The normal things that used to stimulate his mind, weren't so I decided to start "homeschool preschool". It adds structure and projects to his day and I think it has really benefited him to use his mind in a more challenging way. Kolby learns very well through story telling and he remembers little details when I teach him through stories. I really appreciate the chance to teach him because I am learning how he learns and I think it will really help me when he starts actual school. Every other week we have a new subject and I am trying to make every other week a "Christian" lesson. Last week we learned about Noah and the flood...he learned what the Rainbow symbolizes and why it's important to trust and listen to God. It is easy to see that he remembers and tries to apply it during our days and I love that God is on his mind a lot! <br />Randi-She started middle school this year! I am very excited for her and nervous, I remember it being a very difficult age so I hope that she has a good experience! She is in the band and is playing the clarinet. She isn't playing any sports right now but she says she wants to try basketball so we'll see!<br /><br />October is an important time in the Holleman Household because it's HUNTING SEASON! Deven is a deer hunter and every October we go to Twisp and camp with him. Although it's a lot of work with little kids, it is a lot of fun and great memories are being made. Deven LOVES it and I know it's a special thing to him to share it with his family because it was something he shared with his dad. <br /><br />We did family photos this past weekend with my dad and family and I love how they turned out! Our neighbor/friend came and took the pics when I had to be in them. <br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-_QsZCq1huUk/Totq71fH2zI/AAAAAAAABHk/3rt5B76t-Dc/s1600/16.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-_QsZCq1huUk/Totq71fH2zI/AAAAAAAABHk/3rt5B76t-Dc/s320/16.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5659734932923603762" /></a><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-iQ0DDKe7zZg/Totq7RP-aBI/AAAAAAAABHc/-FCsMM5qvdU/s1600/15.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-iQ0DDKe7zZg/Totq7RP-aBI/AAAAAAAABHc/-FCsMM5qvdU/s320/15.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5659734923196393490" /></a><br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-syn8jFKt11c/Totq6y1r48I/AAAAAAAABHU/PUOVkrBa6LI/s1600/08.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-syn8jFKt11c/Totq6y1r48I/AAAAAAAABHU/PUOVkrBa6LI/s320/08.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5659734915033064386" /></a><br /><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-niWtOfAF5dg/Totq6gR_TII/AAAAAAAABHM/VWM80HQ2elI/s1600/01.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-niWtOfAF5dg/Totq6gR_TII/AAAAAAAABHM/VWM80HQ2elI/s320/01.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5659734910051503234" /></a><br /><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-42D1qIMK4p0/Totq6PJt8NI/AAAAAAAABHE/iU99tCKCk0k/s1600/04.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-42D1qIMK4p0/Totq6PJt8NI/AAAAAAAABHE/iU99tCKCk0k/s320/04.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5659734905453408466" /></a>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1485590235599600671.post-49223894562849657042011-06-30T22:19:00.000-07:002011-06-30T22:26:24.439-07:00Bad Hair Day!You think you are having a bad hair day? I haven't had a family photo done since Kamryn was 3 months old and she will be 2 in 2 months!Deven & I also are in desperate need of an updated one... How is this even possible when I am a photographer?! And also, why is it so hard to get my kids to look at the camera and smile, I can do it with other kids that don't even know me! Maybe that's why...but I just can't bring myself to pay someone to take our photos when I can do it for free, I guess that's the dutch in me :) Oh well, I am so happy they are done and I can finally get some new photos up in the house too!! Kolby was quite the cheeser in the photo but this is the best family shot we got...family photos for the Hollemans is very stressful and frustrating but we are good for another year or two :) <br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-eqlDC-CT1xE/TeGIXFqJ7JI/AAAAAAAABFY/BU2y9WbASWU/s1600/01.jpg"><img style="display:block; He loves his sisters so much...<br />He talks about Randi & adores her, always wanting to play spies with her and have her attention...She is getting to the "pre-teen" age(she turns 11 tomorrow!!) so sometimes, her little brother and sister get on her nerves but for the most part she is so good about playing with them and giving them the attention they love to have from her. <br />Kamryn,oh, where to start with my little KamKam...She is SO sweet & funny...she does this "funny face" that her daddy taught her and it is hilarious! She squints her eyes shut real tight and smiles, she puts her hands up & makes fists and shakes her whole body really fast...I have a video of it and I'm going to try and post it later. She is so sweet but with her brother trying to lead her and tell her what to do a lot of the time, she is learning quickly to stand up for herself (sometimes she is too quick to do it) Her way of standing up for herself is this HORRIBLE screaching scream that really drives me nuts but when Kolby won't leave her alone, it's what works the best I guess...soon she will be big enough to really defend herself and her toys! Can't wait for those days & fights (very sarcastic!) Kamryn is talking up a storm...she repeats almost everything and is now saying 2 & 3 word sentances...she all of a sudden just started blabbing...I might be the only one who understands her but she is talking a lot. We are currently dealing with teething issues and she is seriously a bear when she is teething, her whole mood is pretty irritable and sassy...I cannot wait for those annoying teeth to pop through already!<br />Well, I think I am going to try and take some photos of the kids soon! I want to take some outdoor ones...As you probably noticed,I REALLY need to update our photos at the top of the blog...Kamryn is 3 months in those and she is now almost 2! AHH...time goes too fast!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1485590235599600671.post-35544176927043328782011-01-29T21:16:00.000-08:002011-01-29T21:18:06.504-08:00Wanted to share....So I have been gathering old photos to make a slideshow for Kelli & Stan's wedding (YES! Kelli is getting married!)and I came across this photo and couldn't believe how much Kamryn resembles me when I was her age...maybe it's just me, but I think it's pretty close! :)<br /><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TUT0dyjhvJI/AAAAAAAAA-k/avX8T6v--lA/s1600/01.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TUT0dyjhvJI/AAAAAAAAA-k/avX8T6v--lA/s320/01.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5567843831960943762" /></a>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1485590235599600671.post-59995075816382286852011-01-26T20:29:00.000-08:002011-01-26T20:54:12.123-08:00Kamryn is 18 months old!Wow, my little baby girl is not so much of a baby anymore! She is becoming a little toddler and into everything. She likes to copy her brother and still thinks he is hilarious, he hardly has to do anything and she watches and laughs with the biggest smile on her face. No one makes Kamryn laugh like Kolby does! <br />We had her 18 month check up yesterday at the Dr. and she is doing great! She weighs about 24lbs & 31in tall...so about 50% for her age! She is doing great in all areas of development and is really starting to talk...she will repeat most words you tell her to say and we are working on her saying the words instead of grunting or screaming or having her big brother answer for her. Right now she says:<br />mama<br />dada<br />andi for Randi (can't quite say the R yet)<br />bruh for brother<br />milk<br />no (no no no no no lots of times fast because I do that :) )<br />please<br />more<br />doggy<br />help<br />up<br />TT (Kelli)<br />nana<br />papa<br />Joe-Joe (Deven's really good friend who she really likes :) )<br />me<br />mine<br /><br />she is begginging to say words or sign words together but even though she does say all these words, like I said before, we are trying to have her use them all the time because she tends to scream to get what she wants and not use her words...Soon, that will pass!<br /><br />Kolby and Kamryn spend their days playing together, lots of chasing eachother and running and jumping on his bed and lots of Kolby telling Kamryn where to go and what to do! He is such a big brother...today he told me that he is a good brother and loves her...he loves to run and get her when she wakes up and he always runs to her and calls her "tootiepatootie" or "sweetpea" or something adorable like that...melts my heart :)He does NOT like kisses from her though and she loves kissing him and giving him loves so sometimes we get little fights when that is going on. Kamryn also LOVES her big sissy Randi...she gets so excited when she sees her and both girls adore eachother, you can tell when they look at eachother. Kamryn loves her daddy more than anything, she yells DADA when he walks through the door and does the "maniac dance" stomping her feet super fast and spinning around (sometimes mommy sings "she's a maniac, maniac on the floor...and she's dancing like she's never danced before". She is such a little dancer...Justin Bieber is her FAVORITE to listen and dance to! "Baby" is her favorite song. I also know all of Justin Bieber's songs because we listen to his cd in the car whenever we go anywhere...about a month or two ago I was driving and Kamryn like usual was screaming her little head off (she has always disliked the car)I tried Christian music, soft slow music, country music and then finally, after nothing was helping, I put it on 95.3 and a fast, hip hop song was on, I think it was the song "Dynamite" and she just started smiling and dancing in her carseat...ever since that day, we listen to fast fun dance music so that we don't have a screaming girl in the back...I miss 106.5 (my christian station)but I can go without in the car to have some peace and dance music :)<br />Well here are a couple photos of the girl...she is getting so big and such a fun, engergetic, spunky personality, she knows what she wants and goes after it...hence why she is wearing a tutu in some photos, she insisted on it and kept taking it out of the basket and bringing it to me so she could put it on. LOVE HER!<br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TUD5-L4VDbI/AAAAAAAAA-c/wWhGBsvH5qQ/s1600/01.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TUD5-L4VDbI/AAAAAAAAA-c/wWhGBsvH5qQ/s320/01.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5566723986166189490" /></a><br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TUD593mahnI/AAAAAAAAA-U/uLTwCO-9zls/s1600/03.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TUD593mahnI/AAAAAAAAA-U/uLTwCO-9zls/s320/03.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5566723980722341490" /></a><br /><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TUD59hxhWDI/AAAAAAAAA-M/1F-PigTgJAU/s1600/02.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TUD59hxhWDI/AAAAAAAAA-M/1F-PigTgJAU/s320/02.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5566723974863345714" /></a><br /><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TUD59Ol34bI/AAAAAAAAA-E/JrV8opO3Ek0/s1600/04.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TUD59Ol34bI/AAAAAAAAA-E/JrV8opO3Ek0/s320/04.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5566723969714217394" /></a>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1485590235599600671.post-65979916830629699012010-12-08T16:51:00.000-08:002010-12-08T16:56:29.019-08:00Merry Christmas from the Hollemans<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TQApNw1hLYI/AAAAAAAAA94/GKEoTW6Lz7g/s1600/christmas%2Bcard.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 309px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TQApNw1hLYI/AAAAAAAAA94/GKEoTW6Lz7g/s400/christmas%2Bcard.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5548480057344863618" /></a><br />I made our Christmas card this year and love it! I love that the kids look so adorable...I wish we would have done family pictures so I could have had all of us but that's ok! Next year! <br />I wanted to make the card more personal with a reminder of what we are celebrating this time of year...so I added John 3:16. <br />We are so blessed to have such a loving God!<br />Merry Christmas Everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1485590235599600671.post-21452889411438644832010-11-30T19:39:00.000-08:002010-11-30T22:15:13.799-08:003 Already?!If I like it, it's mine. <br />If it's in my hand, it's mine. <br />If I can take it from you, it's mine. <br />If I had it a little while ago, it's mine. <br />If it's mine, it must never appear to be yours in any way. <br />If I'm doing or building something, all the pieces are mine. <br />If it looks just like mine, it's mine. <br />If I think it's mine, it's mine. <br /><br /><br />My aunt Cora gave this to me a few months and all I can do when I read it is laugh because it describes Kolby completely (almost every toddler I'm sure), but it's these little things about our kids that may drive us nuts at the time but it is so humorous when we look back....as a mother of a high energy, strong willed and smart little boy, I have to often remind myself of that (this too shall pass as my mother in law always says). Kolby has taught me so much over the past 3 years, I am his mother and trying to teach him and guide him through this life but I think he teaches me everyday (he teaches me how to have patience that's for sure!) We have our moments; our great fun times and our "mommy pulling her hair out" times but when I look at him, I see a sweet, caring, funny, happy little boy and I am so thankful for him...Some people mistake his high energy, curiosity and stubborn nature as naughty, but I don't see him like that at all (in fact it bothers me when people say that)- I love his personality and those "challenging qualities" are such gifts and when he learns to use them correctly they will be such great qualities to have! They looked great! Deven is such a great dad and dressed up with Randi...you would think with a theme most dad's would but Deven said he was pretty much the only one dressed up. LAME! but at least Randi's dad did!:)<br /><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TN4NH3CHSZI/AAAAAAAAA8o/LSEcCI-Oecg/s1600/07.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TN4NH3CHSZI/AAAAAAAAA8o/LSEcCI-Oecg/s320/07.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5538879020395350418" /></a><br /><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TN4NHrb3GNI/AAAAAAAAA8g/e5ohugamm14/s1600/06.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TN4NHrb3GNI/AAAAAAAAA8g/e5ohugamm14/s320/06.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5538879017282115794" /></a>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1485590235599600671.post-77059908068782746872010-11-12T19:37:00.000-08:002010-11-12T19:57:12.997-08:00Kolby Needs an Update!Kolby needs an update!<br />He is almost 3!He is so excited for his birthday and when he sees toy commercials, he wants everything! I never knew it started so young... "Mom, I want that!" & "Mom, do you think I should get that?!" ...WOW...and he also does it with the catalogs from Target & Walmart...he sat with Grandma Lou yesterday and today telling her everything he wanted for his birthday and Christmas...UGH...I guess this means he is growing up!<br />Kolby is still as stubborn and strong willed as he always has been...thankfully though, he understands his consequences...not that he follows the rules all the time but I at least feel better about punishments when I know that he knows better :) He says long sentences now and talks all the time. He has a very good vocabulary and speak very clear (in my opinion)! Him and Kamryn are so cute together...they love eachother and play really good together most of the time but there are days/times where they antagonize and tease eachother.Kam definitely holds her own with him though, mostly by screaming at the top of her lungs! Kamryn also copies Kolby all the time...if he starts making sounds or singing or acting funny, she does too...He loves to get her when she wakes up and he runs into her room and says " HI Tootie-Patootie" because I always call her "cutie patootie". <br />Here are Kolby's likes: Trucks, 4 wheelers, deer, "Tom & Jerry", Curious George, Chicken, BBQ sauce-has to have the Bull on the bottle, Orange Juice, Vanilla Ice Cream, Baths, playing soccer, playing in the dirt, going to the park, TT (Kelli) is his favorite!, his "blues" (2 blue blankets), camping, the sale barn with TT, reading, his yellow rain boots, talking on pretend & real phones, measuring things, French toast, Fruit Snacks, Nana E's house (the cement mixer & Fire truck are his favorite toys and Nana E has them!), Daddy, Fuzzy,church, Planes & Helicopters, the itsy-bitsy spider song, his sisters and ME (Mom). There are many more things he likes but those are the big ones...<br />2 Must Haves are his blankets and Orange Juice....We do not go anywhere with out them!<br /><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TN4MaVHU6wI/AAAAAAAAA8Y/vAV1XpJrXAg/s1600/01.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TN4MaVHU6wI/AAAAAAAAA8Y/vAV1XpJrXAg/s320/01.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5538878238196296450" /></a><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TN4MaCjIeFI/AAAAAAAAA8Q/TbOxW0ydcxc/s1600/02.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TN4MaCjIeFI/AAAAAAAAA8Q/TbOxW0ydcxc/s320/02.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5538878233212647506" /></a><br /><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TN4MZQbBxbI/AAAAAAAAA8I/VwUYjbfxe7Q/s1600/03.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TN4MZQbBxbI/AAAAAAAAA8I/VwUYjbfxe7Q/s320/03.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5538878219756881330" /></a><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TN4MZBmgXPI/AAAAAAAAA8A/eT6IeV_I-5A/s1600/05.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TN4MZBmgXPI/AAAAAAAAA8A/eT6IeV_I-5A/s320/05.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5538878215778491634" /></a><br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TN4MYn1NHCI/AAAAAAAAA74/cs0nEBTqTTo/s1600/04.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TN4MYn1NHCI/AAAAAAAAA74/cs0nEBTqTTo/s320/04.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5538878208860822562" /></a>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1485590235599600671.post-86058898910055720902010-11-07T19:19:00.001-08:002010-11-07T19:27:43.646-08:00HalloweenHalloween was so fun this year! Randi created her own costume and looked awesome! Kolby was a tiger and Kamryn was a pirate, both looked so stinkin cute! We had our "Halloween" on Saturday night instead of Sunday. I took Kolby & Kam to Oma & Opa's house (my grandma and grandpa) and then we went to see Randi at her mom's house. I snapped a few photos and then we headed to Nana E's house to see Nana (my mom), TT (kelli) & TanTan (Stan). After having some dinner, we headed to our church, Faith Community Church, where the "Fairmont Fair" was happening! Lots of games to play and win candy, face painting(Kolby got some wiskers and a nose painted on and he sit so still and good for the girl!)and a maze that was in the dark! We stayed for an hour or so and then the kids were done, and needed to go to bed. <br /><br />Here are some pics of my cutie pies! (kamryn would NOT stand still but you can still see how cute she looked :) )<br /><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TNdt9-O81gI/AAAAAAAAA1w/5xo3RR-LR1k/s1600/05.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TNdt9-O81gI/AAAAAAAAA1w/5xo3RR-LR1k/s320/05.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5537015178320467458" /></a><br /><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TNdt9pPWbGI/AAAAAAAAA1o/jO9fomXMwIw/s1600/04.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TNdt9pPWbGI/AAAAAAAAA1o/jO9fomXMwIw/s320/04.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5537015172684999778" /></a><br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TNdt9dANtrI/AAAAAAAAA1g/AxEUFL7CrMQ/s1600/06.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TNdt9dANtrI/AAAAAAAAA1g/AxEUFL7CrMQ/s320/06.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5537015169400288946" /></a><br /><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TNdt9I0JmwI/AAAAAAAAA1Y/kX2wC3AuULg/s1600/03.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TNdt9I0JmwI/AAAAAAAAA1Y/kX2wC3AuULg/s320/03.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5537015163980978946" /></a><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TNdt8wmganI/AAAAAAAAA1Q/ZN_4jfwI8Ek/s1600/02.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TNdt8wmganI/AAAAAAAAA1Q/ZN_4jfwI8Ek/s320/02.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5537015157481302642" /></a>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1485590235599600671.post-81437537276186074022010-11-07T19:17:00.000-08:002010-11-07T19:18:05.126-08:00Little Update on RandiSo, I am very "dutch" and refuse to buy those expensive school portrait packages...last year I took Randi's "School" pic too and love it...it's free and I can get as many prints in whatever sizes I want....<br /><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TNdrUFdHFRI/AAAAAAAAA1I/ZiUEQm7DBPg/s1600/01.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_h6FFwbnI1os/TNdrUFdHFRI/AAAAAAAAA1I/ZiUEQm7DBPg/s320/01.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5537012259681146130" /></a><br /><br />Anyway, Randi...she is now in 5th grade! She is definitely becoming a "pre-teen" but is a really good kid...and she cares so much about people and their feelings. I feel like she grew up a lot this summer...her look, her fashion, her attitude(a little sassier :) ), her social life (much more social and lots of friends)& some of the thing she liked last year are "babyish" this year. This fall she played soccer for the first time and loved it! Yeah for me because if any one knows me, they know I played soccer from age 4-18 and love the sport. Her team won 1st place and did great! Can't wait for next fall :)<br /><br />She is growing up and still manages to be a great kid and a very helpful member of the family. We love her so much and appreciate every bit of her!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0
