Update after the Holidays

So life is back to normal after the holidays...We finally got rid of all those adorable puppies! Thank goodness! The holidays were filled with family parties and way too many toys for the kids...I am sure glad we bought a bigger house but we are running out of room now because there are so many stinkin toys! After Christmas we stayed in Bellevue with my mom and it was really fun and relaxing...The kids LOVE Nana E (my mom)!
Kolby's Update: Still working on potty training, I am not pushing it, some days he is very interested in it and others he wants nothing to do with it. His vocabulary has expanded a bit more and he usually always says 2-3 word sentances. He comprehends when we give him directions to do something. His favorite phrases to say are " Oh man!" "Um, yeah" and of course "no". He is testing his limits and our patience...he seems to think that if he says something, it needs to be done right then. If we do not jump up and do it, he screams it over and over until it is done...that's a tough one we are trying to break. He is obsessed with Dora and Boots (Dora's best friend is a monkey named Boots) Thank goodness for DVR, I record Dora all day long so that I don't have to watch the same ones over and over (that's another thing he screams about until we put it on). He still prefers to only wear a diaper. His favorite food right now is probably apples and raisins.
Kamryn's Update: She is almost 6 months old now. She is rolling over for the most part. She prefers her back or side, she does NOT like laying on her tummy which is the complete opposite of Kolby. For Christmas she got a bumbo chair and she really likes sitting in that. She babbles on and on and always has her beautiful smile on her face. She has discovered her feet and plays with them constantly. She is teething a bit and I think one of those bottom teeth are going to pop through very soon. I am going to start feeding her baby food, we have been doing rice cereal and she isn't really a fan so we will start the veggies this weekend.
Randi's Update: Randi is doing great. She is such a sweet girl who cares so much about people and animals. She is a typical 4th grader and has made a lot of friends at her new school (Vossbeck). She was with us for 1 week of her break and we hung out down south for the majority of her stay. She got to do fun things with Nana E like go to the movies and go to the Botanical Gardens to see all the Christmas lights. She is adored by her little brother and sister and we miss her tons when she isn't with us. (I think Kolby sort of understands where Randi is when she isn't here, when I tell him she is with her mom he says "Tarah" so he at least gets that part of it=) )
(Photos from the holidays are coming soon...I think there are a few good ones on Kelli's camera) Deven and Kerri Update: We are doing GREAT! We have really adjusted to life with kids. Deven is working a lot but it is something to be thankful for in these hard economic times. I miss him a lot when he is gone but since I was laid off the beginning of December we will be able to stay with my mom down south during the week and then me and the kids will get to see Deven more since he won't have to commute. Not much else is new with us, just loving life and our family is such a blessing. We couldn't ask for more, we have good health and amazing kids.

Here are some more photos of my beautiful little girl...
